Virtualisation has been around for a long time relatively speaking. At Afinite we have been using it for over ten years to ensure we are able to deliver best value solutions to our clients. We predominantly use hardware virtualisation to allow us leverage server hardware to host multiple instances of sometimes different operating systems to deliver services.
Virtualisation makes it much easier for us to move servers between physical servers acting as hosts as well as making it much easier to carry out Backup and Disaster Recovery and provide a solid foundation for the future.
We view virtualisation as a standard part of our server deployment and typically deploy VMWare ESXi or Hyper V for our customers.
