A business's Computer and Information Technology systems are a
key part of day to day operations. The data you store and process
using them is an irreplaceable asset. To keep everything working
reliably and to ensure constant access to your business data your
IT system needs regular attention from an IT
professional.
We have developed a package of services which give you all the
benefits of your own IT Support team, but at
a fraction of the cost.
What does it include?
When you sign up, as part of our commissioning process, we will
compile a system setup document detailing critical system
information such as the location, address and function of the key
parts of your network, their passwords and appropriate settings
will be backed up where feasible and stored on CD. This provides
both us and yourselves with a central document with all the
necessary critical information about your network which is a key
part of any disaster recovery plan.
After each 12 Point Health Check, aFinite will provide a brief
report on the state of the network and suggest any corrective
action required as your business change over time. This will advise
of any corrective action we have taken following our initial
findings and advice about possible bottlenecks with the current
system and proposed solutions.
For a single monthly fee we will carry out the following :-
-
Perform daily Backup Checks
Secures business data in the event of a deleted file or major
data loss - confirmation of successful backup of data and
intervention is necessary
-
Manage your Anti-Virus protection on your network
Stops infections which lead to data loss and system down
time
-
Monitor and distribute Microsoft Updates to your servers and
connected PCs
Security updates, software fixes and upgrades for all your
computers and servers
-
Firewall, Router and Switch Configuration
Administer your firewalls, routers and switches to setup VPN
users, allow/restrict access and manage Quality of Service (QoS)
rules as necessary
-
Liaise with your other contractors
Many businesses require that their IT work with everything from
the phone / fax system to entry control and security systems. Our
Business IT Support Plus Service includes liaising with any 3rd
parties as necessary.
-
Bi-Annual 12 Point Network Health Check
Bi-annual preventative maintenance check-up for the entire
system to fend off common problems, and ensure glitch free
operation for all users.
In addition to this all your staff will have unlimited access to
the telephone support desk from 9am to 5.30pm for any other IT
issues. Most queries can be solved over the phone, or via remote
access to your systems, but if you need an engineer on-site, this
is covered by the monthly fee.
In the event of a system down or a disaster you will get full
support and 4 hour response, with all engineering labour costs
included as part of your monthly fee.
12 Point Network Health Check
Twice a year, we will carry out a 12 point Network Health Check
of your systems and take corrective action where necessary, like an
MoT test, only for your computer network.

issues caused by nearby access points operating on the
same/overlapping channels as your own.
